I'm going to be showing you guys some of the Amore Mattalic Lip Crèmes by Milani. These are my favorite liquid matte metallic lipsticks on the market right now. They're not glittery like other metallic lipsticks that have been released, they have an actual metallic finish where it's shiny and reflective - like liquid metal in a tube.
These go on with full coverage and not sheer, which sheer coverage is a big pet peeve of mine when it comes to metallic lipstick. They do in fact dry down completely matte where they don't move around, but they do flake a little throughout the day. For me, they don't feel like they dry completely, but they do. It's probably because I'm used to liquid matte lipsticks drying down so much that they dry out the lips like the Ultra Mattes from Colourpop. The feel of the Lip Crèmes is more of a mousse type formula that's very comfortable on the lips and won't dry them out. One thing that should be noted is that they have a very strong fragrance to them. It's not a bad smell, but it does feel like I got punched by a vanilla cupcake every time I open the tube.
Chromatic Addict, Matte About You, and Mattely in Love swatched in order of mention.
Matte About You and Mattely in Love aren't as shiny and reflective (probably because they're darker shades), but they're great for regular wear. Matte About You looks like a pinky orange. It says it's a coral shade on the site, which the way I described it is probably what coral is supposed to like, but Matte About You is my favorite shade for daytime wear. Mattely in Love is a beautiful metallic red that I think would also make a great, cheap alternative for Jeffree Star's Velour Liquid Lipstick in Rich Blood.
These are my all-time favorite liquid matte metallic lipsticks, but they are limited edition. I wish they were permanent, but if you want one then you need to get it while you can because they are becoming more popular as beauty gurus are picking these up as well.
