It’s that time of the month again for the unboxing of the August Adore Box. For those not familiar with Adore Box, it’s similar to IPSY, but it’s not limited to just beauty products. Adore Box is a beauty and lifestyle subscription service that sends out four to ten hand-selected products in each box for a minimum of $15.00 USD. In addition to beauty products, they also include jewelry, accessories and clothing (depending on the subscription plan you choose), and edibles. You can also choose the size and frequency of your box.
Yankee Candle 'Red Raspberry' Car Jar Ultimate ($5.49 USD)
The first item is the Yankee Candle Car Jar Ultimate, an odor neutralizing air freshener that packs up to four weeks of continuous fragrance. It contains a pouch of scented plastic that’s designed to shrink to show when it needs to be replaced. When the pouch shrinks below the label, that’s when you know to change it out for a new one. You can put it in the car or in your bedroom by standing it upright on a table.
The scent I received is 'Red Raspberry,' which has a sweet berry smell. I can’t be around it for long as I’m extremely sensitive to scented products and won’t be able to personally use it. I’ll probably give it to someone else, or possibly save it for a future giveaway.
Moe & Co. Braided Statement Ring ($19.00 USD)
The second is the Moe & Co. Braided Statement Ring. It’s an adjustable ring with a silver finish that’s versatile and will fit a variety of fingers. Made to last, it keeps its shine through hand washing, typing, dishes and other hands-on activities.
I love how this looks and am a sucker for rings, especially statement pieces. This would make a great gift for a relative, close friend, or even a significant other.
GoCubes Chewable Coffee
The third item is the GoCubes Chewable Coffee. Coming in three flavors, each chewable is equivalent to half a cup of coffee with four cubes per packet. It provides the caffeine boost of regular coffee with the convenience of a chewable. I was very hesitant about trying these because I hate coffee-flavored anything, except for actual coffee.
After trying them, I can honestly say that I really dislike like them because of the taste and texture. When you bite into the chewable, it has that old gummy texture that feels like coffee grounds when you chew it. Also, I don’t know what flavor these cubes are (they might be mocha), but it’s too bitter for my taste, which is fine as that’s personal preference and I like my coffee to be sweet.
Summer's Eve Coconut Water Cleansing Cloths
The fourth item is the Summer’s Eve Coconut Water Cleansing Cloths, a pH-balancing feminine hygiene wipe. They’re made to gently cleanse away odor causing bacteria and are infused with botanical extracts to naturally balance a woman’s pH.
For freshness on-the-go, these cleansing wipes are hypoallergenic and can be used every day. However, I wish they were fragrance-free to be compatible with sensitive skin as fragrances can be skin irritating.
Sorme Cosmetics' Natural Green Tea Blotting Paper ($6.00 USD)
And the last item is the Sorme Cosmetics’ Natural Green Tea Blotting Paper. Each packet comes with a hundred blotting papers that are made with a very absorbent natural pulp that removes shine and oil without disturbing makeup. Infused with green tea extract, they have an added skin calming effect for an all-day beautiful finish.
